Apparently the the study of Zinzendorf’s odd religion is a relatively new phenomenon. This book is one of the first to seriously study the Moravians as a radical transatlantic phenomenon. The Google Book introduction gives a good overview. Fogleman also gives much attention to the role of printing in creating a Revivalist Public Sphere. Europeans could read about the Great Revival in the Americas in their Revival Weekly magazines.
